Some things just have to be accepted. Things or situations you just can’t change.
The past. Death. Taxes.
You have to accept the immutable nature of those things.
But the future can be changed. What you do before death is not set. And you can fight for how your taxes are spent.
Sometimes the world hits you with so much that you can’t help but feel defeated.
It seems easier to say, “It is what it is,” and move on.
But we don’t have to accept defeat. We don’t have to roll with the punches or just live with it. We can choose what we do next to rise above the failures and chart a way forward.
The die is not yet cast. We decide. It isn’t what it is. It can be better.
